Hey there folks!
Hey everybody. I'm a new rider in south Florida. A buddy of mine is selling me his '08 250 on saturday. I'm really excited to ride, just got a helmet today. After some searching it looks like I've found my online home for my new bike! I joined KawiForums and as great as their community is there isn't a lot of 250 talk. THEN I traipsed over to 250R.net thinking they would be more active and that was only slightly better. But it looks like you guys are on a lot and there is a thriving community dedicated to the bike I shall soon be riding.

Welcome. I hope you plan on picking up more than just a helmet. Full gear is generally advocated on this forum.

Have you taken the MSF course yet for your license endorsement? If not, I recommend this school at Coral Springs: http://www.learn2ridetoday.com/ You can find some local 250's owners and mechanics in this site: http://www.soflasportbikes.com/forum...da-track-days/ More resources: http://motorcycles.hsmv.state.fl.us/index.cfm http://www.bikesafer.com/sitemap.html Please stay away from I-95 for your first six months of riding !!!
