Firstly, none of my after market bike shops had any in stock and they said they could order it for me for between $30-50. So after driving around to about 5 shops with all the same story I decided to go to Kawasaki near I live just for a laugh on how much they'd want for it. $14. And they had stock. I was more than a little surprised! This is stock original so nothing fancy but for that price I bought it immediately. So now before I start shopping around I always pay them a visit first to check on prices. They also sold me the air filter foam for $4 where the other shops only had after market ones for $80. I know the $80 one was better but again, I've been doing a lot of work on my bike so why not save where I can for now? Anyway, that's my story when it comes to cheap parts etc. Enjoy the forum |

Thanks samantha for the info and story My local dealer here is primarily a offroad dealer and doesn't carry much sport bike parts at all. also when they do price parts to order they are msrp. im like you i know lots of the aftermarket parts offer better performance but i prefer oem parts, but thats just me. |
