are we talking full crash or half crash because obviously 2 half drops = 1 full drop, and 2 full drops = 1 half crash and therefore 8 half drops = 1 full crash.

I'm so good at math!!

The phrase "alcohol was involved" springs to mind.

C'mon, admit it. Who among hasn't had the sudden urge to do something this batchit-crazy when fully lit?

spoiler alert maybe, thanks for ruining the whole movie for me

j/k.... but seriously

On another note. Not really a dump post but just kinda makes you wonder.

Who buys a bike, then sells it 40 odd miles later? That is probably just enough to get it home. It's a 300, Well don't want it any more, time to up grade to a bigger bike cuz i'm pro now since i made it home ok. :dance cool:

I know someone who uses "street bike" to mean "dual-purpose" as opposed to "off-road bike."

The same guy also never refers to a manual transmission as a stick shift or manual and always "5-Speed."

For example: "I'm just looking for an economical 4-cylinder, 5-speed, 2-door, car that'll get me back and forth from my job."

When I was a little kid and I first saw fancy bikes with multiple gears, I thought they were all called "10-speeds." When I first moved on from a fixed-gear bike to a multi-gear bike, I stopped doing that. You should hear him struggle when talking about any manual transmission that has a different number of gears than five. It's like he doesn't even know what to call them.

If the frame is indeed just fine, you could probably buy it for $3.5 and part it out for profit. Or fix it back up for another $3-$4k, and have a basically new R1 for $8k tops.

Hard to sell? Absolutely. Impossible? Not at all.

$8K and a sh--ton of valuable time/labor. Few are paying more than that for a used one no matter how new.

And let's not forget that this one was wrecked. Even when fullt restored, that significamtly reduces the value. Now, what about the enevitable title issues? "Clear" only means that there are no liens so it's still probably a salvage deal.
