This is the all time saddest ****up I have ever seen. The money alone not to mention the work. It is so sad. Like a person that buys a case of spray paint to do there whole car. The first thing they say is " I have an idea this is going to be great. The utter failure is remarkable.

If the frame is indeed just fine, you could probably buy it for $3.5 and part it out for profit. Or fix it back up for another $3-$4k, and have a basically new R1 for $8k tops.

Hard to sell? Absolutely. Impossible? Not at all.

$8K and a sh--ton of valuable time/labor. Few are paying more than that for a used one no matter how new.

And let's not forget that this one was wrecked. Even when fullt restored, that significamtly reduces the value. Now, what about the enevitable title issues? "Clear" only means that there are no liens so it's still probably a salvage deal.
