Got a 250!
My name is Justin. I live near Raleigh, NC.
My brother in law moved to PA from NC and sold me his 2009 Ninja 250 about a month ago. It was in a barn for 2 or 3 years, so it needed some work to get running. Luckily he had the service manual, so the work was easy. I had to replace the chain, sprockets, spark plugs, battery, front tire, petcock, a mirror and a few bulbs to get it street legal. Luckily I've been working on cars since I was 16, so I'm good with wrenches. Now this is my first bike. I've been wanting to get a motorcycle since I was a kid. I'm 27 now, and I'm kinda glad I didn't get one at 18. I was a bit of a showoff back then. I've got all the protective gear and I've been learning how to ride. Love it. This summer is gonna be great. I look forward to gaining knowledge on this forum. |

 Justin!Gear: Check. Bike: Check. See if you can find some training courses nearby. With spring underway, the classes should be beginning and they'll give you the basic knowledge you need to start riding safely.
