My name is Jim, and I am a moto-holic.
Hi Folks,
I just picked up a 2013 300 SE in green with about 750 miles, largely for track day riding. Very excited to mod this little ride and improve my skills. First up is tires, picked Bridgestone S20 EVO's, then will address forks/shock, rear sets/ clipons, etc. typical stuff later on. I would like to keep the stock lights and fairing on until I decide if this should be a dedicated track bike or not. My main street bike is a 2014 FZ09 that has close to 8K miles. The FZ has Andreani cartridges, and an Ohlins shock, woodcraft clip on adapter plate, flashed ECU, SS lines, Galfer white pads, and Ixil exhaust, etc. I typically ride in small groups throughout north NJ, NY, and PA roads. On the track I typically ride with TPM, at NJMP. |

Welcome to the site Jim, this is Ben from NJMP at TPM
this site has been a great resource for me about the bike and people to ride with so I hope you get a similar experience out of it I've decided largely that the big advantage of changing out the fairings is to race CCS, it's just an extra expense for regular track days and TPM's ninja race series which currently has a larger grid than CCS' ultralightweight division

Thanks everyone! Some initial small mods: Stompgrips, Yosh rear set brackets, Galfer SS front line and HH pads on the way. New S20 Evo's mounted up too.
