Yep.. Another newbie..

Hi all.. Just picked up my 2009 Candy Thunder Blue (CTB) Ninja 250R this past October as a birthday present to myself.. I haven't ridden in over 20 years, and finally convinced the wife to let me get another bike.. LOL!! I suppose I'll drop a little background info on myself..

My previous bike was a 1990 Ninja 600.. Unfortunately, and it's the reason why she's been so against another motorcycle, the bike was destroyed at Atco Speedway here in NJ in 1992.. Those days of ripping down the track are long gone for me now though.. Heheh..

Anyway, my new ride had less than 6000 miles on it and was bone stock with the exception of a fender eliminator kit when I bought it locally via Craigslist.. Even though I'm an old fart, or so my kids say, I've made several minor tweaks to the bike since I got it..

I replaced the stock exhaust with a Anodized Blue Musarri Slip-On.. I absolutely LOVE the look, and the sound is much better and beefier than stock.. I replaced the turn signals with Proton Flush Mounts as well.. I also picked up a CTB Solo Seat Cover, Hotbodies Blue Windscreen, and other minor additions to get the bike to my liking..

I've attached two images.. The first is the bike as I bought it, and the second is as it sits currently in my garage..

Admittedly, several of the mods/additions I've made have been based on information gathered through the forums here.. There's definitely a lot of great info to take in..
