Then there are these kinds of people.....

Not sure if this has been posted on here or not, but should be spread around. Shows the mentality of some of the morons we share the road with.

Wonder if his momma ever told him to watch out for 18 wheelers, cement trucks, big dump trucks and trains? They'll run you over too. Maybe somebody will do us all a favor and squish that idiot in the car that drives like he thinks he owns the road.

I googled his name. It turns out he is a pedofile sex offender and feels the same way about little children. He likes to rear end them.

No he doesn't... That line of thought is 100% foolish and intolerant of the world around you at large.

A car is mass of metal traveling a speed, just like a bullet. You MUST care in what direction you point it and what is in front of you. To say you were "in the way due to life choices" shows how little he thought before putting his hands on the keyboard. I would venture to say... just about the same amount of thought when he puts his hands on a steering wheel.

my goodness, what a waste of space.

I hope this admission of guilt is used against him in a court of law should an incident ever occur.

Yer Onner, the defendant has stated on a previous occasions that he has no intent on following the rules of the road on week days.

that should add "aggravated" to vehicular homicide and 20 years in the "pokey" (you guess why they call it the "Pokey" *S*)

Its true I see this all the time with retards doing motovlogs for some reason most motorcycle riders think they are special. Its your own responsibility to look out for your self.

Yea, look out for yourself, I agree with that Mr. Fish, but that is not how the real world works. There is should be a mutual respect and tolerance for all road users. That is why we call them "accidents" instead of "on purposes" or "didn't give a sh*ts". He seems to have forgotten that.

I guess all these bikers made bad life choices.

Link to original page on YouTube.

EDIT: I don't know the cause of this guy running through all the riders, but the ONLY acceptable excuse would be a medical issue and he was unconscious at the wheel.

Dear ole Clifford's facebook page is shut down, his address has been given out, his place of work is being called with complaints. I'd say the boy is on the run by now (unless someone already found him and explained a few facts of life to him).

I get this when I click the link:

It must be just shut down for me. Maybe he wouldn't like my comments.

Hopefully some of the biker associations in his area persuade him to think differently.

There should be. But it just cracks me up because most of the motorcycle riders that are harassing him have the same screwed up thinking as him.

Now now people, lets all calm down here. There is no reason to be so hustle over a persons opinion. Yes, he does need an attitude check and should be made better aware over his horrible choice but lets not start bullying here. Obviously his words bring to light the idea that he could be dangerous as a driver and we want to make sure he doesn't carry this mentality to his actual driving skills. However, lets not harass his family or his job, that's taking it to far.

I believe the valuable lesson here is, he is not alone in his thinking. Although, by the picture, it might have taken a few beers to voice his opinion publically.

His FB page is not down: https://www.facebook.com/clifford.gibson.902

Initially I wanted to flame on him too, but then I thought about all the other violence and hot topics happening in our country lately...

I concluded anger doesn't solve anything. Instead, I sent him this:
So I saw your post ranting about motorcycle awareness. Judging from your other posts you are intelligent and I couldn't see the reason. Instead of writing hate male or whatever I thought I'd take the time to understand instead.

What made you think that the marketing campaign assigned you responsibility for motorcycle safety instead of spreading awareness about motorcycle safety?

The campaign is meant to remind people to do head checks to verify their blind spots before changing lanes, and to be attentive drivers - to watch the other distractions in the car, phone, eating, etc. The idea is to educate riders about safer riding habits while spreading awareness to other vehicle operators.

How could this campaign be changed to be more effective and possibly less offensive?

As a rider, I routinely experience drivers' lack of attentiveness. They merge into the lane I'm occupying and simply ignore the fact that they did. I could take this as negligent attempted manslaughter. In my riding group, there a lot of hot heads reflecting the opposite of what you have posted. I have seen many altercations between drivers and riders and I feel the attitudes on both sides are just making things worse. How do we fix this?

As to your point of motorcycles being recreational vehicles, that is an insurance designation. They are sometimes mistaken as recreational vehicles because they are sold alongside recreational vehicles like ATV's, dirt bikes and snowmobiles - none of which are considered legal road vehicles. Motorcycles are treated as public road vehicles, the same way as bicycles and semi's.

Honestly, I do not want to start a fight. I'm a part of an organization in my state which seeks to promote safety for motorcycles so I'm genuinely interested in your thoughts. If you aren't willing to respond in kind, please don't respond at all.

I sincerely hope you have a wonderful day!

Do I think I can fix him? NO
Do I think my message is going to have any change on him? NO

The reason I wrote it was mainly for myself, as an exercise of trying to move to a better end. Much like all other civil rights movements, tolerance and systematic change in the public's attitude led to real change.

It is our responsibility as riders to protect ourselves, protect those around us through our actions, and be the better people. We are the more vulnerable vehicles on the road and in no position to pick a fight...

I'm not defending him, obviously he's in the wrong and blah blah blah...

Emotions are what got us in this mess, we must learn to apply them more appropriately...
