The difference between a 'do-it-yourself'er' and a 'moron-with-tools' is experience.

There is a simple distinction between an idiot armed with a wrench and a man capable of solving problems. That difference is experience.

Taking machines apart is simple. Identifying points of failure and reassembling machines properly with the necessary repair procedures, is an art.

csmith seems to have it, perhaps he can explain it to the rest of the class.

How come I can never get to page 29 of this thread? It says I'm stuck on page 28. But clicking on "29" only redirects to page 28.

Is there some massive conspiracy going on here?
