Naw, I had just bought them. I haven't been able to ride with them yet either cuz I'm still working on the bike. Can't wait though!

I liked my Latigo RRs too, for the short time I had them. Needed a size smaller, so I sold my pair and never picked up new ones. Nice boots, especially for the price.

Picked up a barely used ICON MIL SPEC II backpack for $40 USD. I've been looking just for a regular backpack to use for other uses.

I've NEVER liked wearing one on a bike, but even the regular ones are pricey, so I couldn't pass up a deal like this.

Who knows I might actually try it on the bike someday.

Bought a Alpinestars GP Plus Perforated Leather jacket. They are on closeout everywhere so I picked one up for summer time riding. Should be here Friday!

^^^ I have been using one of these for 2yrs Teri. Great fair weather bags imho! My biggest beef is they are not waterproof without the included cover and the clear plastic top tends to fog up and get your map/paperwork wet.

Yours looks slightly different than mine though, so I am wondering if any of my beefs have been addressed with this newer model.

My little one had a thin weak rain cover than leak something fierce and the solid rain cover would prevent me from seeing my schedule in the map pocket. That was my main gripes. The other thing was it really was too small for what I wanted to carry on long rides, mostly more than one tupperware of snacks.

I know the covers on the newer style tailbag held up in those downpours when I visited you. So, going to try this one.

Sure is! Great jacket and a great price. I actually ordered one size up for this one. Could use the sleeve length. And with the perforation it'll give me room to wear a jacket underneath.

Why would you wear a jacket underneath in the summer??

I pack a lightweight sweatshirt(cheap Wal-Mart special) sometimes, in case I'm out past dark, chilly summer nights, it's come in handy under my mesh textile, or perforated leather more than a few times.

I like to sweat.

But really, to extend it's use. Think fall and spring riding where it's cold in the morning and night but warm during the day. And having a little bit of extra room in the summer should let more air flow through the jacket. It'll at least be easier to remove when I'm all sweaty. Haha.

I also have one of those Icon chest & back protectors that I might be able to squeeze on underneath.

Awesome, thanks! I really need to get a tank bag myself and it really helps to gauge their actual size to see it on a bike.

This makes sense... Maybe I'll have to carry a light sweater for my textile/mesh jacket.. OR I'll pick one of these up to match my girlfriend:

http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/i...le-jacket-2014

Mesh/textile exterior, so it should be cool enough in Memphis heat, with a zippable thermal vest! Also, CE rated armor in elbows, shoulders, AND back from the manufacturer is nice, too.. all at $150!

My gf has the blue/grey girl version and absolutely adores it.

Spend $100 more and get a perforated leather jacket.

So am I the only one who has found the the comfortable temp window for a mesh jacket to be too freaking narrow to ever bother with? Went on one ride last year with my mesh jacket. The morning was so cold that I had my heated jacket on (and turned on) underneath and the afternoon was so stinking hot that I was wishing for my solid adventure jacket so I could soak my shirt with water and not lose the cooling effect to the blast furnace I was riding through.

The mesh panels on my pants are rarely uncovered and usually its for mid morning or evening rides.

For the ninja: corbin seat

For the KLR: seat concepts seat

It's been a big spending week. I should probably stop now!

Renntec Sport Rack Carrier for Soft Luggage.

I'm going to put my Cortech Tailbag on this, instead of it sitting on my passenger seat. I'm hoping it adds much more stability, instead of being a little lopsided on the sides, when hooked to the passenger seat. It will also give a cleaner look I believe and more room.

2¢ time;

Just remember your PHYSICS, most importantly leverage, to further out from the pivot point, the total weight is increased, just be mindful of how much your putting back there, and it will also effect the geometry of the bike as well, but assuming your not loading too much weight, just be ready to make some adjustments in your riding style.

My "buy button" finger is getting real twitchy, especially after seeing all the e-commerce going on here...

next on my list are: front/rear tires, muffler, jetting kit,
some carbon fiber cloth and vacuum molding setup to play with...
