Smile New Girl Rider From Oklahoma!

I'm a girl rider from Oklahoma! I have had my Ninja 250r for 4 months. I got into riding because my boyfriend has an old Yamaha 1100 we would ride together. I got addicted, and wanted to be able to ride without him! So I started looking into affordable bikes and decided I loved the look of Ninja 250s. I found one for $2500 and decided to go for it! I wasn't an easy learner, so riding was difficult at first, I almost gave up. But after many trial and errors, and laying her over , I am finally confident in my riding abilities! I mainly joined this site for my questions while I (hopefully) start adding things to my bike. Oh, and one day I would love to have a Ninja 300... They are so beautiful.

Careful being over confident on a new bike. There's a thread on here keeping tally of all the drops and crashes and many happen between 6 months to a year of getting the bike. There's no hurry and never stop learning!

Glad you found us! Ask any questions you have and you'll have plenty of help and advice from all of us!

By "confident" I meant not afraid when I go riding. I know how to react in tough situations, this girl doesn't let her guard down. Thanks though for the tip.

Awesome!!

Yeah, there's nothing to be scared of on our little bikes. Just definitely watch out for the other idiots around you.

It is a lot more fun being on your own bike vs riding passenger all the time. I love having the ability to set my own pace and enjoy the thrill of being on a motorcycle.

Congrats on your bike and welcome to the site! And yes, I think the new Ninja 300s are great looking too.

My wife got tired of being a passenger when she was 48. She loves riding her own now. Enjoy the Ninjette!
