Talking Got my 300!

So one step closer to being back in the saddle!
Went yesterday afternoon to pick it up.

It has 1300 miles, green neon's (very cool but i'll rewire them), sliders, extension blocks on the mirrors and best of all a 2 brothers carbon pipe!
Just needs a juice box or power commander.
the right side passenger peg bracket was busted on the top that holds the peg. no biggey, just got one on eBay for $35.
Payed $4,050 for it.
The guy took $50 off for the busted bracket.

I'll have better pics as soon as my hand is better and i can wash the pore thing. I don't think its seen a sponge and soap EVER.

All buckled up to go home

Awesome score on the bike. The one thing about them is the terrible looking rear fenders/mudflap, which was the first mod i did to mine not long ago. lol

That's in the plans. I need to do some more essential things to it first. Lowering links and blocks for one.

The first thing I thought of when I saw your bike is this scene from bugs life:

Link to original page on YouTube.

It's so beautiful!!

It doesn't look dirty in the pics. I guess photos often make bikes look cleaner than they are though.

Ahahaha!
Its not too bad until you look close. I'm a bit "OCD" about washing my bike so the smallest thing bugs me.

Thanks, i'm getting there. Ankles at 75%, still cant pivot on it. the index finger still hurts if i grip something to tight or poke something by mistake. my right thumb is still in a cast. i have a follow up on the 10th to get it off and the pin out, had the stitches out last week at least. then PT, yay!
At least it gives me time to do some work to it.

Very nice and sounds like a great deal

Did the guy find that riding wasn't for him or did he break the golden rule of having to crash the 250/300 before moving on to the R6?

Congratulations, heal up fast and many thousands of safe miles on your new baby!

He said he needed the money.
I think he got it because someone said it was a good starter bike and he found it was not what he realy wanted.
We're thinking he may have beet on it a bit. I think he dropped it in his driveway at some point, thus the busted peg bracket. lol

He said he had a buddy on the back that was a bit hefty...

I've heard of people snapping the pegs on the 2008+ ninjette simply under the weight of the rider. It's possible he's telling the truth about that.

egad... somehow I completely missed your crash report!

Glad it's not worse... I've had similar things happen but thankfully no accident yet.

Congrats on the 300. That color scheme is growing on me...

Were you able to recover any of your upgrade bits from the 250?

Nope

it was all or nothing with buying the bike back.
If i had i wouldn't have been able to get the 300. I will be getting the grips you sent me again if i can find them. i realy liked them.

Thats the worst part, i gotta start from scratch...

At least i know what i want to do with this one.

If I ran a business I'd let the employees park their bikes inside next to their desk!

Obviously they'd have to leave them outside during health and safety inspections though
